　　The No.30 Institute of China Electronic Technology Corporation(CETC), which is the former Ministry of Information Industry, was founded in 1965 to design, develop and produce cryptogra
phic equipments for the Chinese army and government. After nearly 40 years, it has become a leading supplier of communication and information security devices. Its broad hardware and softw
are product line covers almost every facets of wired and wireless communication and computer net
work security. Its products are widely used in many military units, government agencies and financial organizations.

　　The No.30 institute has a staff of 1400 personnel, 800 of them are of bachelor or higher degree. A group of experts are dedicating themselves in cryptology year after year. Some of their researches have been recognized by international cryptology circle. The algorithms they designed have been implemented in the products, making the encryptors from No.30 reliable devices suitable for even the most confidential information. 　　The history of No.30 institute is marked by a series of milestones. The mechanic-electronic encryptor designed by No.30 in 1950s marked the beginning of secure communication in China. The fully electronic Secure Telephone designed in 60s was the first of its kind in China. The Fully-digital Communication System designed in the late 70s brought China’s defense communication into digital era. In 80s, the institute overcame difficulties caused by technology embargo imposed by some western countries and developed the Secure Packet-switching Communication System. The
